Even the Home Watcher's home is not exempt of disasters. Last Friday, my wife and I were busy at home. Suddenly, I heard my wife screaming for help. There was a significant water spill in our master bathroom. I quickly closed the toilet water valve. Since the break was at the tank, the refill system was providing new water constantly. Within minutes there was more than 15 gallons of water on the floor. We still do not know the reason for the tank breaking but it is irrelevant at this point. Fortunately we were home and stopped the water flow quickly. If we would have been shopping or away for a couple days, this event would certainly have evolved into a major disaster. Closing the main water valve when you leave your home will prevent a situation like this from becoming a major expense. Happy Holidays. JP @ Home Watcher LV |
