Kelly and Jeremy Palmer - Home Watcher LV
Home Watcher LV is a family-owned company. We are committed to operating our business following the code of ethics of the National Home Watch Association (NHWA).
The Articles of Organization are on record at the Nevada Secretary of State office under the name Home Watcher LV, LLC. We have a Nevada Business License (NV20121322720), and business licenses in Clark County and all cities where we do business. We joined the NHWA, we are insured, and bonded for your protection.
Home Watcher LV was founded in 2012 by JP Lalonde. He and his family visited Las Vegas for many years and fell in love with the area. They purchased a home in the Las Vegas Southwest area two years before retiring from a Manufacturing technical career at General Motors. In the two years that they lived away, it was very stressful not being in their Las Vegas home and wondering if everything was all right, keeping their fingers crossed until the next visit. Issues like landscaping and irrigation system, plumbing, heating and A/C, litter, and flyers on the porch, weeds, and general upkeep were always on their mind. The idea of Home Watching started to grow and in 2012 Home Watcher LV was born.
In 2014, while living in the Midwest, Jeremy and Kelly Palmer decided to embark on a new journey and purchased a vacation home in Las Vegas hiring Home Watcher LV to watch their home. In 2020 the Palmers moved to Las Vegas permanently and were able to work remotely for their employers. Jeremy was employed as a Regional Manager with a lawncare company for 20 years, and Kelly has been employed as a Circulation Data Processing Specialist since 2011. After being a client, the Palmers saw how valuable the service was to someone who has out-of-state property. It really eased their mind knowing they could depend on Home Watcher LV to keep an eye on their property the way they would themselves.
In 2020, when COVID hit the world, Home Watcher LV grew significantly in a few months. Due to the rapid growth of the company, Jeremy joined the Home Watcher LV team in 2021.
After twelve years of building a successful company, in February 2024, JP Lalonde decided to semi-retire and sold Home Watcher LV to Jeremy Palmer and his wife Kelly. JP cares about helping others and has a high level of integrity that he plans to pass on to the Palmers. JP will remain involved in supporting Home Watcher LV as an independent contractor. The Palmers’ business experience and personal background are a good match for a Home Watch business.
The company aims to establish a long-term relationship with each client. There is nothing like knowing a dependable and local person you can count on. Our goal is to help our clients fully enjoy their property from the time they walk into it until the time they leave.
