Yes, Southern Nevada has mild winters however, we typically get one to five nights of below freezing temperatures.  Your exterior spigots and vacuum breakers are vulnerable.

A foam cup or an insulating sock can take care of your spigot for less than $10.

Piping insulation and some form of insulation like a pouch are necessary to protect valves and vacuum breakers. (Insulating pouches are available at Home Depot and other retailers for less than $50)
