Las Vegas has the reputation to be very sunny. That is true. However, the summer time weather can bring significant rain storms in any or all parts of the Las Vegas valley. The severe rainstorms water is mostly handled through aboveground and underground storm waterways. The management of storm waters at your property is also very important. Water should have a path to flow to the street or any other natural or man made storm water ways. Check for evidence of standing water after a good rain storm, check for buried drain pipes, ensure that the drain paths or pipes are clear of debris at both ends.
