 Reverse Osmosis water filter leak The story this week is a leaky reverse osmosis water filtration system. We tend to forget this equipment full of tubes, valves, seals and O-rings. All components are under continuous water pressure. RO water systems are equipped with a pressurized reservoir which maintains water pressure, even after you turn off the main water valve. A slow drip will become a huge problem. Fortunately, this one was caught before significant damage took place.
